Founder of Kyokushin Karate, Sosai Masutatsu Oyama was a legendary martial artist known for his unmatched discipline, power, and philosophy. With a vision to create the strongest form of karate, he developed Kyokushin as a full-contact, no-compromise style rooted in respect and perseverance. His legacy lives on through millions of practitioners worldwide who follow his principles of Osu no Seishin—the spirit of pushing beyond limits.
In September in Montesilvano (PE), during the ACSI Martial Arts Stage, Master Tommaso Schirinzi was awarded the 7th DAN black belt in Kyokushinkai Karate. The honor recognizes his 47 years of dedication and leadership. President of the ASD Italian Kyokushinkai Karate Organization and KWF representative, he credits his success to passion, budo values, and the support of his students and collaborators.
